Welcome!

No two paths are the same, even if we grow up in the same household. We walk through life with various lenses, lessons learned, ideas passed down, and protective mechanisms to keep us safe.

There comes a point where we might stop and question, who am I? What do I want in my life? Where am I going? What do I believe? These questions can increase unease and uncertainty. Some of us begin to wonder where do I go from here?

These moments do not have to be a stopping point, but rather a time for exploration, and growing into your authentic self. Sometimes these moments increase feelings of depression, anxiety, or maybe you have been struggling for awhile and have had thoughts of harming yourself or of suicide in the hope to ease your pain. And sometimes the amount of effort it takes to pull yourself out seems out of reach.

There is a lot of stigma attached to seeking help. Maybe you were told to “suck it up” or “it could always be worse.” And in the moments when you tried to reach out for support others did not show up for you in the way that you needed.

And here you are today, maybe having the willingness to give it one more shot. I invite you to reach out, and take advantage of the energy that brought you to this place.

As my clients work to address difficult feelings and memories that have been pushed down, we work together to identify the behaviors in your life that are no longer serving you or necessary. If you show up, I will show up right along side you. Therapy is not always fun, but it can be worth it!
